Data privacy statement


The protection of your privacy and of your personal data is important to us. That is why we have taken a number of data protection measures. Thereby, we want to comply with the regulations of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG).


We want to show you the individual measures and explain them below:


1. Personal data

According to the BDSG, personal data are data that can be used to reveal your identity. This comprises for example your name, your (e-mail) address or your phone number. However, information that cannot be clearly associated with you are no personal data (e.g. the number of visitors on your web site).


2. Collection of usage data and use of cookies

In order to be able to ensure a high security of our website and to optimize the availability of our website, we store selected usage data of the visitors when accessing the web pages operated by us. We store these data on protected servers in Germany for a limited period of time. Only authorised persons can access these data. We do not analyse these user data to create individual-related usage profiles.


In detail, we store the domain name or the IP address of the requesting computer, the file request of the client (file name and URL), the HTTP code, the browser type and browser version used by you, the referring web site, as well as the date and duration of your visit.


For some purposes we use cookies. These are text files which are stored on your computer and which allow an analysis of your use of the web site. This enables us to recognise you the next time you visit our site. In this case, the use of cookies is not related with personal information about the use of our site. Also in this case, you can prevent the storage of cookies by using the appropriate settings in your browser. Possibly, certain services cannot be used in this case.


3. Use of contact data

If you send us an e-mail or if you complete one of our online forms, then your personal data (such as name, e-mail address, fields of interest) will be used exclusively for corresponding with you, for example to send you requested information or documents. Any other use is carried out only for the purposes that you have explicitly consented to in the corresponding form. E-mail addresses are not used to send you unsolicited e-mails without your consent.


4. Sending of our newsletters

If you want to receive the newsletters offered by us, we need your valid e-mail address. In addition, to be able to address you personally, we ask you to tell us your salutation and your name. We use these data only to send you our newsletter. You can revoke your consent for the storage of these data as well as their use for sending our newsletter at any time.


6. Transfer of personal data to third parties

We only use your personal data within our company. If any data is transferred to service contractors in the context of order data processing, then we obligate them likewise to comply with the BDSG. We only transfer your data to authorities that are entitled to give information, if we are obliged legally or by court order to do so.


7. Liability for linked contents

Our web site contains links to other sites. We have no influence on how the providers of the linked web sites deal with the information shown on these sites. If you have questions about this, please contact these third parties directly. We are not responsible for the compliance with the data protection regulations or the content of these web sites.


8. Information about data stored by us

Of course you are entitled to request information about the data about you that we have stored. Please contact us for this purpose. We are also at your disposal for any further questions concerning data protection at our company.
